I had the pleasure of attending an event at the Aurora banquet venue and oh my, the views were to die for! The food at the buffet restaurant was simply divine. And let me tell you, the walls at the Hotel & Conference Center Sempachersee are currently being transformed into a work of art by Gianni Fabiano. Talk about fancy!
Oh, and let's not forget the private dining rooms, perfect for discreet events. And don't even get me started on the stand-up lunches and private barbecues.

Easy parking, open and fresh rooms, restaurant with excellent people and food, excellent internal self-service with fresh and health food, proximity to lake, small beach and bars, proximity to Schweitzer Parazentrum with swimming pool and self service, several business services, quiet and tranquil, green all around, neat and clean rooms, large showers
Rooms building look like bungalow (ie light and cheap structures) but they are not

Very close to the SPZ (Swiss paraplegic center). Rooms are wheelchair adapted as well as the bathrooms. WiFi free of charge. Nice breakfast with all you need. Bar and Restaurant are available as well as a "market restaurant". Free parking in the hotelowned underground parking. Nice surrounding with the Sempach lake, Luzern, etc.
Rooms are in separate "blocks". Way to the bar, restaurants and main building "open air". Balkony a bit small.

This was a large, practical hotel which we used as a stop off. It did everything that it said on the tin. breakfast was very good. All our rooms had a small balcony which was nice and the shower was excellent.
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Didnt like the self service resteraunt very much for evening meal.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious and comfortable hotel. The location near the lake was absolutely stunning, allowing us to enjoy beautiful views and take relaxing walks by the water. The hotel's proximity to nature made it the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The food at the self- service restaurant was really superb and very affordable. All in all, we were very impressed with the hotel.
They were holding an 'outdoor cinema' when we stayed, which meant hotel guests were shunted out the way in favour of external customers. Hence, we ate on the self-service restaurant as the a la carte restaurant was fully booked. Likewise at breakfast, they hold a 'brunch' for external customers also, and could not get rid of the hotel breakfast customers quick enough. Because of all this, parking was at a premium. The buildings look like a prison. Despite this, we would still fully recommend this as a stop-off hotel.

We book the hotel because of the amazing location near the lake. the view from the balcony was breathtaking. the room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good enough with fresh fruits and a variety of bread. the conference room was well equipped with impressive facilities.
The noise from the construction activities that started early in the morning made it hard to sleep properly.

Friendly, helpful staff.
We realise that a hotel cannot be held fully responsible for the behaviour of its guests; however, keeping the bar open late merely encouraged attendees at a seminar to stay up late, then continue their drinking and very noisy discussions in one or more guest bedrooms (usually after rearranging the furniture). It was therefore impossible to obtain a good night's sleep during our stay.

Availability of parking, complimentary breakfast
All rooms are located in the standalone motel-type buildings. Therefore, you can hear noises from people who enter or leave their rooms. Internet is not complimentary. Staff did a poor job of letting us know hours of cafeteria availability. Bicycles were advertised as available for rent, however it was not an option on Saturday (?). Hotel's advertisement says nothing about the hospital which is located next to the hotel.

This was an overnight stop, so the fact that it is principally a business hotel is just right for us. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, albeit quite pricey. We had a very comfortable room and breakfast was also excellent.
A bit pricey, but then Switzerland is expensive.

The rooms are very modern and well-designed. They have a great view of the mountains and are completely accessible, which is a big plus. the breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh fruits and warm breads.
The location was a bit inconvenient, as it was quite far from the main reception area. the menu at the hotel restaurant was limited and overpriced.
